OPEN POSITIONS:Closing Date: October 15th, 2024
Responsibilities:
This position will be an active member of the Client Services team, answering a high volume of inbound calls, assisting customers and fellow employees with daily needs. The ability to multitask and a sharp eye for detail is required for this position, ensuring information is recorded accurately and efficiently.
Description of Duties:
- Work as a team answering inbound phone calls for 11 locations, answering customer questions and transferring to their AgWest advisor
- Process extensive new customer account paperwork in support of the sales team, coordinating the communication between AgWest, clearing firm and customer if necessary
- Utilize online processing software to open accounts, overseeing various forms and requirements
- Manage accounts payable requests, reviewing operational bills, tracking credit card expenses, cutting checks and other basic bookkeeping responsibilities
- Assist the Client Services team in various projects including internal database management, mailings and event preparation
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-year college degree or applicable experience
- Excellent customer communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Extremely detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Knowledge of the agriculture industry helpful but not required

Responsibilities:
As a Broker/Cash Advisor you will actively seek out new customers while servicing your growing book of clients. You will spend time educating producers on the variety of marketing tools available including futures, options, and cash contracts. Helping your customers assess price risk, you will partner with them to create a customized marketing plan and execute that plan on their behalf. By providing the discipline and execution needed for a successful plan, you will help producers manage the emotions that come with selling the commodities they have worked so hard to produce.
As an Associate Broker/Cash Advisor you will support the AgWest team in their responsibilities maintaining client relationships, in addition to the opportunity for growth if desired in seeking out and managing your own book. Daily responsibilities will include keeping marketing plans up-to-date, talking with customers on the phone about their current market position changes and other office support.

Basic Qualifications: (required)
- Minimum of 2 years proven sales experience within a team structure (Not required for an associate)
- Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
- Must be internally motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to obtain a Series 3 License for commodity brokers within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications: (desired)
- Agriculture industry knowledge and experience
- Understanding of commodity markets including local cash markets, contracts, and their correlation to futures prices in the process of managing risk
